Where History Meets Wild Nature
5 hr5 hrLocation 1
Service Description
Step into Costa Rica’s past and hike through one of the last remaining tropical dry forests in the Americas — home to jaguars, history, and breathtaking natural beauty. Once a working cattle ranching hacienda, Santa Rosa has been transformed into a museum and conservation site. Located in Santa Rosa National Park, it preserves both Costa Rica’s cultural heritage and a critically important ecological zone. Santa Rosa is known for hosting one of Costa Rica’s highest concentrations of jaguars, alongside other incredible species like white-tailed deer, 3 different species of monkeys, tapirs, and a wide variety of birds and reptiles.
